Privacy Policy

Overview

Counter Pilot is operated by Evidence Ventures, LLC. When you install Counter Pilot on your Clover dashboard, we read your live Clover data (orders, customers, items, payments, employees, and your merchant profile) on your behalf so that Pilot can answer your questions and draft the marketing sends you ask for.

What we collect

• Clover merchant data. Orders, customers, items, payments, employees, and your merchant profile, read via the Clover API once you authorize the app.
• Chat history with Pilot. The questions you ask, Pilot's responses, and the actions you approve or decline.
• Account metadata. Your Clover merchant ID and the email address associated with your Clover account.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
• We don't share your merchant data with other merchants or with outside third parties, except as strictly required to operate the service (e.g., SMS delivery providers for approved sends).
• We don't send customer messages without your explicit one-tap approval inside the chat.

Your controls

You can uninstall Counter Pilot from your Clover dashboard at any time, which revokes our access to your Clover data. You can also request deletion of your chat history and account metadata by emailing privacy@counterpilot.app.
